Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD and Autism, Jo (Expert by Experience, The Retreat Clinics) was often misunderstood and felt alienated in his experiences at school and in early life. Now diagnosed with both ADHD and Autism as an adult, and successful in his professional and academic career, he will share his experience of learning to work with his neurodivergent mind and why being assessed for his neurodiversity has helped him to thrive. This will include some of Jo’s personal story, some tips and strategies which have worked for him and a little bit of hope that despite challenges, it is possible to succeed as a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world.
